As a Google Premium Partner and Meta Marketing Partner, Yellow Pages is a leader in digital marketing for companies across Canada.The Analyst will be responsible to produce different reports and Analysis for the accounts receivable department. Reporting to the Director and working closely with the other managers in the department. He or she will be responsible for the Database management related to Credit and Collection department.Responsibilities:
- Prepare month end reporting related to Account Receivables like calculation of the AFDA (Allowance of Doubtful Account), Bad Debt, KPI, Cash and others
- Monitor and analyze the accounts receivable for opportunities and developments. Working with other managers to elaborate strategies to maximize collection results.
- Overseeing the KPI process (preparing, analyzing and explaining key variances) and including several financial key points as they relate to Cash, budgets and ROI.
- Work with the different services, department to maintain and optimize performance reporting.
- Prepare discussion material and presentation of results to VP and Director.
- Support the different teams in the department with projects, Benchmarking and other needs
What do you need to be a Financial Analyst & Database Management at Yellow Pages?Qualifications:Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years experience in an analytical role. Not just financial but also database analytics as well. (Call-center experience would be an asset.)
- Experience in Database management and programming (i.e. my SQL)
Other:
- Bilingual (English/French) – This position involves daily interactions with clients or internal and/or external professionnals at the National level. Therefore, bilingualism in French and English is required.
Nice to have:
- _Understanding of financial models and business plans for a credit department would be an asset.
- Team oriented with the ability to function independently with minimal guidance and confidence, proactive personality.
- Sharp Analytical skills and rigor, tendency to look beyond the obvious
- Capacity to develop and maintain relationships: coordinate various resources both internally and externally
- Advance knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Visual basics and SQL would be an asset.
