Job summaryWe have a Fixed Term Appointment for a Heart Failure andImaging Fellow. The post holder will spend 6-7 sessions per week undertaking multimodality cardiac imaging. The training programme may be tailored to suit the successful applicant’s requirements by agreement. Across both sites there are opportunities for sessions in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, TOE and transthoracic echo. There will be opportunity for stress echocardiography, if desired. The post holder will have their own rapid access and routine heart failure (weekly) and inherited (monthly) clinic with support and training from Dr Critoph. They will also be expected to provide inpatient heart failure consultations to support the inpatient HF specialist nurse team, as neededMain duties of the jobThere will be one general cardiology clinic and a contribution to the on call cardiology rota(1:8 non-resident weekday cardiology on call).We do reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we receive a high volume of suitable applicationsAbout usOur values define who we are as #TeamUHD.   • BSE Accreditation Exposure to complex PCI as a 1st Operator.
  • Experience in research and publication in cardiology especially intervention

KnowledgeEssential

  • Demonstrable awareness of main developments in cardiology

Desirable

  • Certified provider in ALS

  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice
