Job Description:HM Note: This hybrid contract role is three (3) days in office. Candidates resume must include first and last name.Senior Project Manager: 1 Role1. Manage internal resources of the project teams, task assignments, priorities, team deliverables, issues and risks, stakeholder engagement, project communication, project financials.2. Manage all aspects of the relationship with vendors including but not limited to the following: requirements management, facilitation of negotiations, contract management, vendor onboarding, SLA adherence.3. Provide regular communication and status updates to the Manager on all aspects of the project. Prepare briefings, presentations and other project documentation for Senior Managers and C Level Executives for the purpose of obtaining approvals.4. Manage project issues and risks (e.g., identify, monitor, escalate, resolve, and report) through the team. Escalate issues to the Manager. Inform the issues logs and risk registers for the overall project, if applicable.5. Lead, facilitate, coordinate project team meetings. Track action items, decision items, risks and issues that come out of meetings and updates Manager.6. Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure the objectives of the project are being met.7. Manage stakeholders’ expectations with respect to the on-going upgrade of Identity Management Systems for the OPS.SkillsExperience and Skill Set RequirementsExperience and Skill Set Requirements:1. Experience Managing Large Identity and Access Management Projects – 50%· Demonstrated experience managing large projects, preferably some procurements resulting in multi-year contract durations and total values over $2M.· Previous experience managing security projects based on IAM components such as public key infrastructure (PKI), hardware security modules (HSM), SSL certificates, etc.· 10+ years experience in technology project management; at least 5+ years must include projects that required large technology procurements.2. Experience in Resource Management – 25%· Demonstrated experience using the agile/scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders to ensure success including scheduling and facilitating agile/scrum events including but not limited to backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.· Manage a portfolio of procurement projects related to identity & access management, associated project plans and schedules, and day to day work for each of the procurement projects.3. Vendor Management and Reporting – 25%· Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with teams, clients, various stakeholders, and senior management and with vendor management.· Demonstrated experience working with and managing external vendor relationships.· Demonstrated vendor management experience in the OPS or a government setting and an understanding of procurement practices.· Demonstrated experience reporting on progress of deliverables, milestones, issues, and risks to various audiences including steering committees and formal status reporting.· Demonstrated experience preparing documentation such as presentations, other technical documentation/deliverables (i.e., technical strategy document, option analysis) etc.· Experience providing updates and advice to senior management. Experience presenting to executive steering committees responsible for project oversight and decision-making.· Experience with cross-ministry stakeholder reporting and management within the OPS.Knowledge Transfer:Transfer of knowledge from the Senior Project Manager FFS resource to sustainment OPS employees:· Methodologies (includes procedures, practices, plans, and tools) required to manage Entrust PKI certificates on behalf of the OPS.· Knowledge records or other standard operational artefacts required for the OPS to manage and support the new agreement with the vendor, i.e., Entrust.· Documentation on Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs), security clearances, and all OPS agreements with the vendor.Knowledge transfer will be conducted through workshops, lessons learned, briefings, role shadowing, monthly checkpoints, and reverse shadowing on technical design, configurations, industry leading practices, problem management tools/tactics, new technologies and informal knowledge transfers.Must Have:Experience Managing Large Identity and Access Management ProjectsPrevious experience managing security projects based on IAM components such as public key infrastructure (PKI), hardware security modules (HSM), SSL certificates, etc.10+ years experience in technology project management; at least 5+ years must include projects that required large technology procurements.
