Pay: £145 – £210 per day
Contract Type: Maternity Cover
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Start Date: September 2025Do you have a passion for shaping young learners’ first experiences in education?We are looking for a dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this school is committed to developing a love for learning in Early Years. This long-term position offers the opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidate.About the RoleAs a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging and structured Early Years curriculum, ensuring that each child is supported in their academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with a Teaching Assistant and collaborate with parents and the wider school community to create a nurturing learning environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment to support children’s development.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and SEN specialists to ensure inclusivity.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on pupil progress.
  • Encourage children’s confidence, creativity, and curiosity through play-based learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with completed ECT years.
  • Previous experience teaching in Reception or Early Years.
  • A passion for early childhood education and supporting young learners.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive atmosphere.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN or additional learning needs.
