Antitrust Associate Attorney (1–3 PQE) – LondonDirect Counsel is seeking an Antitrust Associate (1–3 PQE) to join a top-tier Am Law 100 firm in London . This role offers an exciting opportunity for a junior associate to work on complex, high-profile competition and antitrust matters with a strong cross-border focus.The firm’s Antitrust practice is known for advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, and private equity firms on a broad range of competition law matters, including merger control, cartel investigations, market dominance issues, and regulatory compliance. Associates in this group will gain hands-on experience handling UK and EU competition filings, liaising with regulatory authorities, and working alongside top-tier lawyers in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on complex competition law and antitrust matters , including merger control and regulatory compliance.Handle CMA filings and assist with other UK and EU competition law procedures.Work on cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and regulatory bodies.Provide support on antitrust litigation and cartel investigations.Conduct legal research and draft high-quality memoranda, filings, and other legal documents.Collaborate with partners and senior associates on sophisticated antitrust matters.Engage with regulatory authorities, clients, and external counsel as needed.Key Qualifications:1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in antitrust and competition law.Experience handling CMA filings and advising on high-end, complex antitrust matters .Strong understanding of UK and EU competition law and regulatory frameworks.Experience working on cross-border cases involving multiple jurisdictions.Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.A high level of professionalism and ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.Outstanding academic credentials and experience at a top-tier law firm are required.
