About the RoleWe are looking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Networks and Systems to support teaching in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). The successful candidate will ideally join us by August 2025.About YouThe post requires an effective communicator of new and complex ideas with an ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience. You will have a PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, and be passionate about your work, preferably in subjects such as networked systems and applications, operating systems, distributed systems.This position is focused solely on teaching and scholarship. Applicants are expected to have clear and ambitious plans for advancing scholarship activities that enhance student education and experience, particularly through curriculum development and educational delivery in Computer Science. You will engage in educational projects within the relevant scholarship groups. These projects are aligned with the School and University’s education priorities.Please note that traditional technical research outputs are not in scope for this role.About the School of EECSAs a multidisciplinary School, we are known for our pioneering research and pride ourselves on our international reputation.
