We are looking to appoint a Whole-Time Consultant in Benign Gynaecology, at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based in the Jessop Wing of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers.Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.Should any further vacancies arise shortlisted applicants will be considered.Main duties of the jobThe appointee will, together with consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive benign gynaecology service.Track record / qualifications in one of the following areas or special interests would be an advantage:o Menopauseo Hysteroscopyo Fast track clinico Acute gynaecology and early pregnancyo VulvalThe post holder will participate in the oncall rota.About usSheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts.   • MRCOG Postgraduate professional qualification
