Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor and Director, you will support the development of strategic HR programs and provide operational HR advisory services across a wide range of functions, including:Recruitment and staffingLearning and developmentHR policy development and planningSupport in employment equity, pay equity, job evaluation/classification, and health & safety (training provided)A full job description is available in both English and French.What You Bring:
Education & Experience:University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and recent experience in a unionized HR environmentProven experience in recruitment, staffing, and learning & developmentKnowledge & Skills:Strong understanding of trade union and equity principlesProficiency with HR systems and implementationSound judgment and ability to advise all levels of staff and leadershipAwareness of the social and political dynamics within unionized environmentsSolid grasp of employment legislation, standards, and collective agreementsAttributes:Fully bilingual in English and French (written, spoken, and comprehension)Strong analytical skillsConflict resolution and relationship-building abilitiesExcellent project management and team collaboration skillsAdvanced proficiency in HR-related software toolsApply today for immediate consideration!#LI-BS2
