RWE Data Analyst – PRO/COA PsychometricsUnited Kingdom and EuropeJob OverviewReal world evidence (RWE) has become a vital complement to the traditional clinical trial in the demonstration of the value and safety of new medicines. This data analyst role sits within our Real World Solutions team and will be responsible for leading analyses related to PRO/COA endpoints using health-related observational and clinical trial data under one client portfolio. It is important for this individual to have knowledge in observational research and psychometric methodologies, a strong statistical programming skillset, and experience managing multiple studies and complex analyses. In this role, individuals will have access to real-world databases and act as the stewards of the client’s best practices, standards, and methodologies underlying the use of real-world data (RWD).Essential FunctionsDevelop statistical analysis plans for descriptive and complex statistics in studies using RWD and clinical trial data for PRO/COA psychometric endpoint research questionsMastery in both classical and modern test theories and PRO/COA validation to program analyticsSupport integration of PRO clinical trial results into value dossier and regulatory submission packagesLead development of statistical programs using SAS for regulatory and non-regulatory submissions (pre-defined and post-hoc)Implement CDISC standards as required for project deliverablesConduct QC programming for descriptive and complex studies in RWDContribute to writing study reports and use of visualization tools for reporting and data synthesisCommunicate timelines, progress reports, and results to project team and key stakeholdersProvide technical, programming, and statistical expertise and independently bring project solutions to team for complex studiesClosely collaborate with scientific team to develop and refine analytic procedures and workflowsQualificationsMaster’s degree in psychometrics, measurement science, analytic psychology, or related field with 3 years relevant experience or PhD in psychometrics with 1-year relevant experienceKnowledge/experience with PRO/COA methodologies, statistics, programming, and HEOR studiesFormal training and demonstrated proficiency in statistical programming using SAS and R, including macros and basic SQL requiredKnowledge of PRO endpoint psychometric analysis using clinical trial data requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skillsAbility to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projectsIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
