SEN TeacherAcademics is seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in Worthing. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs (SEN) by providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment.Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs.
*Support students with Autism, ADHD, and other SEN in their academic and personal development.
*Create a structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
*Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to provide tailored support.
*Implement EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) targets and track progress.
*Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage confidence and independence.Requirements*QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching primary-aged children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
*A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach.
*Strong differentiation and behaviour management skills.
*Full UK driving licence (school is not easily accessible by public transport).
*Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Expected salary

£31650 – 49084 per year
