Scottish Forestry is the Scottish Government agency responsible for regulating forestry
activity, policy, and grants. We’re looking for a knowledgeable Regulations Manager to lead on
the delivery of felling and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) regulations, supporting
Conservancy offices across Scotland.
In this national role, you’ll provide expert advice, update guidance, support complex cases,
and help ensure consistent regulatory delivery aligned with Scotland’s Forest Strategy. You’ll
also contribute to staff training and the development of IT systems that support our regulatory
work.
You should have experience with felling and EIA regulations, a good understanding of the UK
Forestry Standard, and a relevant qualification in forestry or land management. Strong
communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages are essential to this role.
