Are you passionate about freshwater conservation and ready to make a real impact? Join the Ballinderry Rivers Trust as a part-time Conservation Breeding Programmes Assistant and play a vital role in protecting one of the world’s most endangered species – the freshwater pearl mussel.

About the Role:

You’ll support our Conservation Breeding and Reinforcement Programme, working hands-on at our Breeding Centre in Orritor. Your work will include aquaculture husbandry for freshwater pearl mussels, white-clawed crayfish, and brown trout, as well as habitat and water quality enhancement in the Ballinderry River catchment.
