Overview

This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to collect organizational, operational, financial and due-diligence information from local civil society organizations, foundations and other non-profit organizations applying under the EU4Dialogue – Phase II Call for Proposals in Armenia.

The RFI forms part of the grant application package and will be used by UNDP Armenia to support preliminary eligibility, capacity and risk review of applicants. It does not replace the technical evaluation of grant proposals and does not constitute a commitment by UNDP to enter into a grant agreement or other partnership arrangement.

The Call for Proposals targets organizations operating in, or working with, border and conflict-affected communities in Ararat Marz (Ararat consolidated community), Gegharkunik, Syunik, Vayots Dzor and Tavush Marzes, as well as settlements surrounding Akhurik in Shirak Marz and Margara in Armavir Marz.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate relevant experience and capacity in one or more of the following areas:

  • community-level engagement with local self-government bodies, settlement administrations, CSOs, non-formal civic groups and vulnerable groups;
  • design and implementation of community-based initiatives aimed at enhancing human security, resilience, social cohesion and locally led conflict transformation;
  • implementation of initiatives combining soft activities with small-scale hard components, such as community infrastructure, equipment, services or other tangible support, where relevant and justified;
  • inclusive participation of women, youth, persons with disabilities, displaced persons/refugees and other vulnerable or marginalized groups;
  • conflict-sensitive programming, Do No Harm, safeguarding, risk management, monitoring and results-based reporting.
