About our Organisation

The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.

We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we support and grow the organic market, and we protect forests. We couldn’t do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it’s needed the most.

About the Opportunity

2026 is our 80th year and an exciting time to join the Soil Association. We have an ambitious strategy to 2030 with inspiring, scalable projects which deliver impact across the food system.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fundraising Administrator to play a key role in supporting our fundraising team and helping us deliver our fundraising strategy. This varied role sits at the heart of the team, providing essential support across administration, CRM management, prospect research, supporter communications, due diligence, financial processes and meeting coordination.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help ensure excellent stewardship of supporters, efficient team operations and the successful delivery of fundraising activities that enable us to create a healthier, more sustainable future.

About You

You are a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing a varied workload. You enjoy working with processes, systems and data, and are confident using digital tools, databases and Microsoft Office applications.

You are self-motivated, adaptable and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Whether you already have experience in fundraising or are looking to bring your administrative expertise to a purpose-driven organisation, you are motivated by making a difference and share our commitment to the Soil Association’s mission and values.
