Salary: £76.92 – £95.68 Per Day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: ImmediateAre you a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a child’s education?GSL Education are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive and inclusive school in Bovington. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing personalised support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the guidance and encouragement needed to thrive in their educational journey.About the Role:As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers to learning. You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with additional learning needs.
• Assist in adapting lesson plans and activities to meet the student’s specific learning style.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised learning strategies.
• Support the student in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where necessary.
• Ensure the well-being and safeguarding of the student at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or support setting, preferably in a 1:1 role.
• A passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• Have an updated CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
