The Student Administration team is a busy, friendly and hard-working section of the wider Directorate (for Strategic Planning and Student Administration SPSA) and has a broad remit delivering key aspects of University business. This includes student progression and awards and prizes, production of certificates, student enrolment, ensuring the student journey is supported administratively and helping maintain the student record system. We are looking for someone with strong administrative experience, and whilst some of that experience being within higher education would be preferred it is not at all essential. The post-holder will work with staff across SPSA and the wider University and, on occasion to student directly. Key amongst the experience and skills would be: good IT skills and experience of working with large data sets; ability to manage busy and diverse workloads; managing/triaging and responding to large email in-boxes; and excellent interpersonal and customer support skills.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this position.
