Responsibilities

This is a dynamic leadership role that will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in a multispecialty department. This role will have more focus on the needs of pulmonary clinic patients and the pulmonary procedure suite that cares for both inpatients and outpatients. The assistant nurse manager will have a strong clinical focus on the bronchoscopy suite, pulmonary function testing lab and clinic needs. Some responsibilities will include patient and staff scheduling, patient and staff education, orientation, safety and process improvement initiatives and planning based on department needs. Looking for a leader with strong communication skills, critical thinking and flexibility to support and grow a culture of inclusivity.

Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $42.17- $59.03

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
