THIS VACANCY IS OPEN TO INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLYWe are seeking committed and effective research leaders to develop King’s academic relationship with the Francis Crick Institute, building on current strengths and developing wider basic and clinical research and training connections.This high-profile role will require at least 0.2 FTE, potentially 0.3 FTE at times and depending on prior experience, and is available immediately.King’s College London is committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and would like to increase the involvement of typically under-represented groups in key roles within the College.The Academic Lead roleFull details of the role are in the Job Description attached below. Professor Malcolm Irving, who has been both King’s Academic Lead and Associate Research Director at the Francis Crick Institute would be very happy to speak to interested staff.   • Experience in relevant research areas and familiarity with the Francis Crick Institute
  • Academic leadership experience in multidisciplinary or cross-Faculty research areas
  • Management and organisational experience
  • Contributions to doctoral training

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an informal interview with a small senior panel.
