This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference in students’ lives by providing tailored academic support and guidance.Job Title: Academic MentorLocation: SouthwarkContract Type: Long termSalary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)READ ON & APPLY TODAY – Academic Mentor SouthwarkAbout the Role:As an Academic Mentor, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to provide targeted interventions for students, helping them improve their progress in core subjects like English, Maths, and Science. You will play a key role in identifying students’ learning gaps, providing one-on-one and small group support, and helping students to build their confidence and academic skills.Academic Mentor opportunity:

• Competitive salary £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
• A degree in a relevant subject (English, Maths, Science, or Education) is preferred
• The Academic Mentor will support pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students’ learning needs
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a passion for helping young people succeed
• Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
