Academic Mentor – GreenwichOne of the most well-respected and high performing mixed-sex secondary schools in Southeast London, Greenwich, is searching for a talented Academic Mentor. This is a full-time and long-term position with a September start date.Q: Are you a bright graduate and future Teacher?Q: Are you looking to gain experience within the classroom before applying to a PGCE?In the run up to exam season, my client is keen to find several gifted and talented graduates to tutor, mentor and support his Key Stage 4 & 5 students. Previous tutoring experience is an advantage, but not essential. - Full time Academic Mentor / GCSE & A-Level tutor
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4pm
- September start required
- Long-term role until July 2025
- Candidates may be required to assist with afterschool booster clubs (not compulsory)
- £85-£100 per day
- Key Stage 4 & 5 focus – you may occasionally be required to support in KS3
Who are we looking for – Academic Mentor
- 1st Class / 2:1 degree from top Universities
- Subjects sought: Science (Chemistry), Maths, English, Economics
- You must be confident in your subject knowledge
- The ability to breakdown and simplify complex concepts is essential!
- An articulate, personable and team-playing individual
