Academic OfficerLocation: E15- StratfordWorking: Full Time ( 4 days onsite and 1 day WFH)Contact: 2 – 3 monthsAre you a skilled academic administrator with a passion for education? we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Academic Officer to ensure the smooth administrative operations of our art therapy training programs, working closely with Course Directors and other key team members. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our post-graduate clinical trainings, validated by a leading university partner.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding students and ensuring a smooth induction process.
  • Coordinating accurate timetables in collaboration with Course Directors.
  • Developing and maintaining the course handbook in compliance with university standards.
  • Supporting academic staff in preparation and distribution of course materials.
  • Managing and updating online learning materials and communication channels.
  • Collaborating with the Head of School to support students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD).
  • Organizing and documenting staff and student liaison meetings, ensuring actionable items are implemented.
  • Addressing course-related queries and student concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Managing essay submission deadlines and handling extenuating circumstances.
  • Recording student attendance and administering virtual meetings.
  • Managing course fee payments and reconciling accounts.

Person Specification: The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, preferably within higher education. Attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Experience in a similar role or relevant academic administration is highly desirable.Qualifications and Salary:

  • A good honours degree and/or relevant administrative experience.
  • £16.76 + £2.01 Holiday Pay
