Salary: Grade 6 £28,131 – £31,502 per annum together with NEST pension benefits

Contract: Permanent Position

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Predominantly based at the Singleton Park Campus however the role holder may occasionally be required to work at the St David’s Park Campus.

The Academic Quality Team are responsible for delivering a high-quality service, coordinating, leading and delivering professional support and management services.

As an Academic Quality and Programme Development Coordinator you will receive training on all relevant systems and procedures and work in accordance with all University regulations, ordinances, policies and procedures, governance and constitutional frameworks, seeking guidance from your line manager where appropriate.

This role will suit applicants who are highly organised, proactive, with a strong eye for detail and able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines, anticipating problems which may arise. The role will involve working closely with a range of academic and professional service staff from across the Faculty and University. The ability to form effective working relationships and gain an understanding of academic programmes and regulations is essential.

This role will suit applicants who have significant experience in working in education within academic quality and programme development or clear transferable skills.

The successful candidate will be fully conversant with a range of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Teams) and will receive training on other systems such as the University intranet and Canvas hub.
