This senior position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the development of academic support services based within The Library that enhance student learning and success.You will lead a dedicated team responsible for delivering high-quality support in information and digital literacy, academic skills development, and the ongoing enhancement of our library resources — both physical and digital. Working in close collaboration with colleagues across the institution, you will help ensure our academic support services remain relevant, effective, and impactful. You will have a solid grasp of educational technologies, hybrid learning environments, and inclusive pedagogical practices that support a diverse student body.We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic professional who brings:

• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective partnerships.
• Significant experience in delivering academic support or educational development within higher education.
• A strong understanding of library services, including collection development and digital learning resources.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• A proactive, collaborative leadership approach with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
• A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Library and Information Science, Education).
