In this role, you will work closely with students and teachers to provide tailored academic support, ensuring all children have the tools and confidence to succeed.If you are dedicated, patient, and committed to helping children excel academically, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!Responsibilities:As an Academic Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group academic support for students in a mainstream primary school setting.
• Assist with classroom management and help create a positive learning environment.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Help students with special educational needs or learning challenges to achieve their academic goals.
• Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:As an Academic Support Assistant, you will need:

• Previous experience working in a primary school or with children (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, teachers, and parents.
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
• A passion for education and helping children succeed.
