This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in an educational setting while making a meaningful impact on students’ learning.As an Academic Support Assistant, you will work closely with secondary school students, providing one-to-one and small-group support to enhance their learning experience. Whether you’re a recent graduate, an aspiring teacher, or a university student looking to gain experience, this role offers the perfect stepping stone into education.As an Academic Support in a secondary school, your responsibilities will be:

• Assist students in understanding key subjects and completing assignments.
• Provide targeted academic support to students who need additional help.
• Help students build confidence and develop independent learning skills.
• Work closely with teachers to implement learning strategies and track student progress.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting as an Academic Support in a Secondary school is desirable.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field. University students are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed.
• A proactive and patient approach to supporting students’ academic development.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
