We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual for an exciting 12 month maternity cover opportunity working as an Access Projects Manager. The role will lead on the development and delivery of cornerstone projects within the University’s Access & Participation Plan. These include our flagship national sustained outreach programme, Brookes Engage, as well as smaller targeted projects.
The Access Projects Manager also plays an important role in working across our four faculties to ensure that our outreach projects reflect the breadth and depth of our course portfolio.
The Access and Outreach team at Oxford Brookes delivers targeted access, outreach and schools liaison programmes that inform and attract a diverse range of potential students to the University. Our focus is on working collaboratively: with communities, schools, colleges and other university partners to facilitate progression routes to higher education and to Oxford Brookes University. As part of the management team, you will contribute to the wider direction and leadership of Oxford Brookes’ work on widening participation.
You will have significant project management skills, with experience of working with students who face a range of barriers to engaging in and progressing into higher education. You will have the skills required to lead a busy and committed team, consistently managing priorities in order to deliver against your team’s objectives.
This is a full time, fixed term role for 12 months, covering maternity leave.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a visa via another route.
