We are offering an opportunity for an Accountant in North York, Ontario. As an Accountant, you will be tasked with the management of financial records, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role will involve working in a dynamic environment within the manufacturing industry.Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage financial records and prepare financial reports

• Perform bookkeeping and financial analysis tasks

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

• Maintain and update the general ledger by entering financial data and verifying transaction accuracy

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor performance against these budgets

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights on profitability, cost control, and performance

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and financial regulations

• Maintain organized and updated financial records and documentation.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial tasks

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently

• Knowledge in auditing practices and procedures

• Ability to manage and update Balance Sheet Accounts

• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting financial data

• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members

• Detail-oriented and organized in handling financial records

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle pressure

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is advantageous

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
