Robert Half has partnered with a distribution company in Englewood in search of an Accountant! The Accountant position is paying $50,000-$65,000!

The Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for all Accounts Payable including entering vendor invoices, credit card charges, preparing bill payments through online bank bill pay system, reconciling AP account and preparing accruals monthly.

• Responsible for the AR cycle, preparing and distributing customer invoices and managing the collection process.

• Responsible for posting payments to customer accounts, preparing remote deposits and posting deposits into the accounting system.

• Responsible for monthly journal entries to record, as determined by assigned accounts.

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis; resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis.

• Maintain timely month-end close process with organized and comprehensive checklist.

Requirements for the Accountant include:

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• QuickBooks experience (preferred)

• Manufacturing, distribution, or construction experience (preferred)
