Description We are in the search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Union City, California. This role involves the use of accounting software systems, account coding, and ADP financial services, as part of the daily responsibilities. You will be working within the accounting industry, and your job function will be to ensure the smooth operation of our accounts payable department.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications using accounting software systems.

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit details and account coding.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action based on the account status.

• Utilize ADP – Financial Services for financial management and reporting.

• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for managing business processes.

• Perform accounting functions as per the established guidelines and standards.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure that all finances are maintained in an effective, up to date, and accurate manner.

• Execute accrual accounting methods to record revenues and expenses.

• Conduct auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in the accounts payable department.

• Process payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH). Requirements • Proficient in account coding with demonstrated experience in its application

• Strong knowledge of accounting software systems and their use in accounts payable

• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services and its application in accounting

• Experience in using Concur software for expense management

• Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning and its role in business operations

• Ability to perform and manage all accounting functions, especially those related to accounts payable

• Experience in accrual accounting, with a focus on the accounts payable (AP) aspect

• Proven track record in auditing, specifically within an accounts payable context

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations and their role in transactions

• Ability to manage and utilize accounting software and systems for efficient workflow and accurate record keeping.
