We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Kanata, Ontario. The role will involve working in the high-tech industry, where you will handle customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and deal with customer inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:-Efficiently process customer credit applications related to accounts receivable-Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records-Proactively handle customer inquiries and provide solutions-Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions in a timely manner-Conduct billings and commercial collections-Assist with the execution of journal entries-Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections-Support the team during year-end closings-Perform other accounts receivable duties as required.-Must possess at least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk role or similar.-Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.-Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite Technologies is necessary.-Experience in making Journal Entries is required.-Must have experience in Commercial Collections.-Experience in Year End Closings is required.-Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are needed.-Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.-Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.-Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary.-Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
