Accounts Receivable Clerk in Memphis, Tennessee

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the finance industry, located in Memphis, Tennessee. The role is for an Accounts Receivable Clerk, providing vital support to our team in managing customer accounts and processing financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently handle customer billings and collections

• Develop and implement new procedures to enhance productivity and tracking

• Timely and accurately fulfill customer discrepancies and inquiries

• Generate and submit invoices to customers in line with company practices

• Regularly review aging accounts and engage with customers to maintain less than 5% receivables over 60 days

• Ensure all necessary documentation is submitted timely and accurately prior to invoicing

• Perform backup for other Accounts Receivable positions as required

• Manage the retrieval, scanning, and copying of materials for accounts receivable as needed

• Execute other duties as assigned with diligence and precision. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Demonstrated abilities in Billing operations.

• Familiarity with Cash Applications.

• Prior experience in Cash Collections.

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections procedures.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.
