Position description

The Department of Government and International Affairs at Wofford College in Spartanburg,
South Carolina, invites applications for an adjunct position for Spring 2025.

EXPECTATIONS
Teaching excellence is a priority at Wofford College. Competitive candidates will have teaching
experience. The person chosen for this position will teach in-person one section of introduction
to international relations. This is an ideal position for an ABD candidate interested in obtaining
more extensive teaching experience to prepare for a career in academia, especially in a liberal
arts setting.

QUALIFICATIONS
A master’s degree in political science or a closely related field. Preference will be given to those
who have experience teaching at the college level.
