If your answers are yes, keep reading on!The Centralized Administrative Services unit within Treasury Board and Finance has a professional Administrative Assistant role that we are looking to fill. We are a collaborative and fast-paced team that supports multiple client groups. This is an exciting place to work with great learning experiences and room to build your professional networks.In this role you will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including managing the Executive Director’s schedule, coordinating meetings, appointments and conference calls, preparing meeting materials and complex confidential documents such as briefings and correspondence, as well as documenting and preparing draft minutes from meetings as required.Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with SharePoint, ARTS and 1GX is strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of government/political processes, i.e. legislative assembly, cabinet, caucus is also preferred.A related diploma in office administration is an asset, as is experience working in financial and/or legal institutions and/or with the Ministry of Treasury Board & Finance.Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.A cover letter outlining your related experience is required and will be used to help us assess your written communication skillsNotesThis is a permanent, full-time position working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
