BEUC, The European Consumer Organisation, is currently looking to recruit a hands-on Administrative Assistant.
The tasks of the position will include:
- Contribute to the work of the Communications and Capacity-Building Department (e.g. update the database of contacts, support the organisation and catering of events, the coordination of staff trainings and BEUC members’ workshops etc.);
- Provide administrative assistance and secretarial support for BEUC teams such as:
- Format reports, letters and invitations;
- Coordinate missions and travels;
- Organise logistics of meetings;
- Assist with the administrative aspects of EU-funded projects (e.g. prepare annexes for project reports, invoices, etc.).
The main qualifications we are looking for are:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Secretariat and/or Office Management or equivalent;
• Strong organisational skills, with need to be able to set priorities;
• Excellent ability to correspond using correct etiquette;
• Linguistic proficiency in English, written and spoken, fluent French is an asset;
• Proficiency in IT office tools;
• Discretion, sense of diplomacy, reliability;
• Autonomy and sense of initiative;
• Proactive approach and multi-tasking;
• Good communication skills; great Team spirit; Stress resistant.
