Proven ability to work with a variety of disciplines to maintain and foster good working relationships.Skills And Abilities
- Strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, in dealing with a variety of work situations including physicians, hospital staff, board members, government representatives, community agency personnel and the general public.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- Aptitude to be proactive requiring minimum direction.
- Strong problem solving skills to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Capable of decision making/problem solving within predetermined guidelines.
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Link to Full Job DescriptionAdditional information for applicants**This position will be for an initial 3 months with the possibility of extension** This position will support with system update in the Logistics department (Scanning, Geo Tab, Online Catalogue). Incumbent will have the following responsibilities: Descartes: 1. Review route data to ensure accuracy and completeness. 2. Verify route data within the application to confirm proper integration and functionality. 3. Install and verify the functionality of barcodes at Vancouver Island sites. 4. Provide support to staff and drivers in using the scanning application effectively. 5. Serve as an ambassador to facilitate training and the successful launch of the application. 6. Conduct ride-alongs with drivers to ensure proper use of the application and address any issues. Geotab: 1. Create plan for Installing Geotab devices in vehicles. 2. Verify the proper flow of data from Geotab devices to ensure accuracy and reliability. 3. Provide training and support for the vehicle inspection program. 4. Set up the Geotab system to meet operational requirements. Asset storage/management program: 1. Catalog assets and maintain organized records. 2. Manage warehousing tasks associated with asset storage. 3. Set up and manage an online system for asset tracking and management.
