Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts. This role lies within the telecom industry and emphasizes credit clerk duties. The job encompasses a blend of administrative and customer service tasks, including receptionist duties and schedule coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications meticulously and promptly

• Keeping precise records of customer credit

• Handling and resolving customer inquiries related to credit

• Overseeing customer credit accounts and initiating actions for overdue payments

• Undertaking receptionist duties such as receiving and transferring calls, and recording messages

• Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail packages

• Managing and delivering messages and deliveries as required

• Maintaining and updating the daily schedule

• Coordinating schedules for various tasks and appointments

• Ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in performing receptionist duties

• Experience in customer service

• Ability to answer inbound calls professionally and promptly

• Skill in transferring calls to appropriate departments or personnel

• Experience in taking and relaying messages effectively

• Ability to distribute incoming mail accurately and timely

• Skills in packaging outgoing mail and ensuring they are sent to the appropriate recipients

• Experience in delivering messages within the organization efficiently

• Ability to handle deliveries accurately and securely

• Ability to manage and maintain daily schedules

• Experience in coordinating schedules amongst team members or departments.
