The University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) invites applications for the post of Administrative Assistant (Time for Dementia). Based at Glenside Campus, the post holder will support the UWE Bristol delivery team for the Time for Dementia programme (https://www.bsms.ac.uk/research/neuroscience/cds/time-for-dementia/time-for-dementia.aspx
The post-holder will have regular communication with UWE Bristol undergraduate health and social care students, people with dementia, and carers of people with dementia. As well as working with the UWE Bristol programme teams, the post-holder will also work closely with BSMS academic and administrative staff, colleagues in administrative and academic units in the parent universities and staff in NHS partner organisations.
Applicants should have a good standard of education and possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post requires a high level of personal responsibility and initiative. Lived experience of Dementia would be advantageous.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre. Regular bus services link the campus to the main Frenchay site, the city centre and surrounding areas, and nearby Bristol Parkway train station.
Home to UWE Bristol, College of Health, Science and Society , Glenside Campus offers excellent teaching facilities, these include a selection of inter-professional simulation suites, enabling students to practice and develop professional competencies, and one of the best health care libraries in England.

This is a part-time, fixed-term post until June 2026, working 22.20 hours per week.
