Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityThe Administrative Assistant to the QEII Medical Site Lead is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Site Lead by effectively coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Site Lead’s office. The Administrative Assistant will develop and maintain processes for issues management. They will establish and maintain a variety of information systems. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to committees chaired by the Site Medical Lead or to organization-wide committees/task forces/foundations/auxiliaries, etc. chaired by others. The range and diversity of responsibilities will require the Administrative Assistant to adopt a flexible approach. The ability to work independently, often under pressure to tight deadlines, is essential.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration or secretarial program required
  • Undergraduate degree is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience, providing administrative support and office coordination at the executive level, preferably within healthcare and within an integrated service model provided throughout several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders required
  • International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification is an asset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology and with information and meeting technologies
  • Experience utilizing technology in meeting planning to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
