The Wilberforce Institute is looking for a dynamic, problem-solving person to do administrative work and project management (administrative assistance) for a range of projects engaged in with the Wilberforce Institute and outside stakeholders as well as project management for the Justice Hub to mitigate modern slavery at the Wilberforce Institute. It is essential that the successful applicant shares the values and ambitions of the Wilberforce Institute, which is a research institute with a remit to do research on historical slavery, the legacies of slavery in contemporary Britain, and modern slavery so that this horrendous crime can be understood and its effects mitigated. We are looking for someone with qualifications and interests suitable to help researchers into slavery and someone with skills and experience in providing admin assistance on project management. The job is varied and requires someone both comfortable with working alone and with working in teams.

If you have questions about the position, please contact Judith Spicksley at the Wilberforce Institute at [email protected] .
