Humber Nature Partnership
Are you an excellent administrator looking for an opportunity to make a difference?
We are seeking an administrator to support our small team to achieve the sustainable management of one of the most important estuaries in Europe, to ensure the conservation of the estuary’s internationally important wildlife and wildlife habitats.
This is a new role with the potential to expand and develop.
Responsibilities include: general admin support for staff, assisting the organisation of meetings and conferences, writing reports, presentations and minutes, financial management (using Quickbooks) and drafting and posting social, media/web content.
You need to be: well organised, a good communicator, able to manage a varied work load, be proficient in Microsoft Office and get on well with people.
The Humber Nature Partnership is one of 48 Local Nature Partnerships around England. We work with our member organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors to deliver the sustainable management of the Humber Estuary. Our mission is: “Industry and Nature in harmony in one of Europe’s great estuaries”.
The Humber Estuary is a great place to work. The largest coastal plain estuary on the east coast of Britain, drains 20% of the total land surface of England, the country’s largest port complex with over 40,000 international shipping movements per year, internationally important for its bird populations and is also currently undergoing a paradigm shift from the largest cluster of industrial emissions of carbon dioxide to being at the forefront of new
green technologies.
