Oxford Brookes University
Oxford Brookes is a leading modern institution with big ambitions. We are seeking to increase our global footprint, broaden access to an Oxford Brookes education, and further enhance our reputation as a leading global University.
The Admissions Office is at the heart of these ambitions, playing a key role in the achievement of the University’s objectives through the delivery of a fair, efficient and transparent admissions process that enables equitable access for those students with the potential to succeed at Oxford Brookes.
We have recently expanded our Admissions team to support us in delivering an exceptional applicant experience across our UG and PGT portfolio.
The role of Admissions Officer will deliver timely and accurate processing of admissions decisions across the full range of undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses. Assessment of applications will be informed by professional knowledge of qualifications and an understanding of relevant assessment frameworks relating to an applicant’s academic, experiential and contextual background. As part of the wider Admissions Operations team you will contribute to delivering high levels of customer service for applicants, colleagues and partner organisations.
You’ll have experience of the UK higher education admissions process, including a good understanding of the principles of fair admissions. We’ll work with you to develop your professional knowledge of global qualifications, as well as the ability to understand applicant’s broader academic and contextual background.
You will be motivated and prepared to work flexibly across a busy team to ensure that we deliver against agreed standards and performance requirements.
The Admissions team is currently working in an agile, hybrid model combining working remotely and at our Headington campus. We are open to discussing hybrid working arrangements with candidates.
