Job description
The Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development is seeking a detail oriented, well-organized professional to support the delivery of our suite of professional development courses and certificate programs. This is a fast-paced environment where high quality customer service is key.RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate details for online and in person course deliveryServe as a point of contact for participants, facilitator/contractorsDetermine course logistical requirements, required course materials, communications, evaluations, etc., in collaboration with OCEPD staff and training facilitatorsOversee logistics for scheduled training including room set up, online platform requirements, and all related detailsGreet facilitators, troubleshoot technology issues, welcome participants, and address any questions or concernsMaintain and manage content library, course recordings, and access to training materialsEnsure delivery quality standards are maintainedOrder appropriate catering for in person trainingManage supplies required for training, including course specific materialsComplete attendance tracking for all training, create and distribute certificates, ensure access to materials required for trainingOther duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:A relevant 2-year diploma or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and related work experienceExperience in program or service deliveryDemonstrated strong customer service orientationDetail oriented, organized, and ability to multi-taskStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in various forms of technology and familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive considered an assetPossess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicleApplication Instructions:Please submit electronically a cover letter, quoting the competition number, a resume and reference list to be received no later than the closing date via the link below.If you are unable to apply online, you can drop off your resume to the Human Resources Department, Kelley Building, University of Prince Edward Island, 550 University Avenue, Charlottetown, PEI C1A 4P3, Fax Number 902-894-2895.UPEI is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation and believes in providing a positive learning and working environment where every person feels empowered to contribute.
