Job Description Summary:

The ATM software Platform Team is looking for an Agile Product Owner. This role will partner with a Solution Manager and Agile Coach to development a new ATM software platform. The Platform Team is responsible for delivering highly available, scalable and performance efficient ATM system software. This is exciting new work with a significant impact on delivering business goals.

Location: Dundee (Hybrid)

Annual Incentive Base Range

• 66,400.00 – 83,000.00 – 99,600.00 GBP Annual

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Use Effective Agile Processes (Scrum and Agile Hybrid)

• Responsible for bringing together the interests of the business, the customer, and the delivery team.

• Must clearly communicate the product vision and customer value to all stakeholders.

• Is the final authority on the priority of work, business value, and product functionality.

• Maintains an effective and groomed backlog that reflects the priority of work and has enough user stories ready for development.

• Use methodology to lead your teams to deep customer understanding and experiences

• Responsible for ensuring customer stories are captured, customer problem statements are defined, and concepts are prototyped and tested.

• Must resolve product questions expeditiously.

• Participate fully in daily, iteration, release and road map planning.

• Participate fully in product demonstrations, retrospectives and other agile forums of communication.

• Must clearly define acceptance criteria per feature and accept completed development work.

• Coordinates frequently with program level peers.

• Works with extended stakeholders and management as needed.

Ability to:

• Lead team to deep customer understanding

• Lead team to the right, well defined customers problems to solve

• Use design techniques to lead team to the best solutions worth developing

• Use lean startup techniques to test hypotheses and the viability of concepts in the market

• Use facilitative leadership skills to engage stakeholders and the delivery team in product decisions

• Effectively communicate with project stakeholders that represent a wide variety of domains and skills.

• Work effectively with and gains the respect of the delivery team.

• Weigh in on competing demands for capabilities and make tough product decisions

• Have a vision and is able to guide the team to realize that vision.

• Mentor and teach the team on product ownership

Other skills required:

• Technical XFS API knowledge

• Past software development experience working with large-scale system software in a production environment

• BSCS or BSEE or Other related 4yr Technical degree
