DEPT® AIThis role will play a key role within DEPT®/AI. DEPT®/AI has a single mission: to make the best work in the industry using AI to enhance everything we do. This role sits within our Global Data & AI practice, which has deep expertise in leveraging AI. The team includes data strategists, consultants, data scientists and analysts that work alongside DEPT® teams around the world across different services – from commerce, to full-funnel media, content engineering to internal operations. You will be solving some of the hardest and most challenging problems facing some of the best loved brands in the world – and doing this alongside an experienced team.JOB PURPOSEWe are looking for select individuals with practical open-ended consulting experience who are interested in working with organizations to understand how they might leverage data, automation, and AI to improve, unlock and advance their business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to develop an understanding of their business goals and levers
  • Define existing teams, tools and processes
  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
  • Identify opportunities to enhance, replace or add net new technical capabilities, people and process to help in the advancement of client business goals
  • Synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Work effectively with internal and external teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act
  • Establish trust-based relationships to better serve their organizations
  • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWhile all consultants develop specialized knowledge in AI, most are initially broad in their focus, meaning they do not need specific AI experience but are expected to be adept in understanding technology from both a technical and business vantage point and are able to understand new technology at a conceptual and practical level.

  • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years work experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and business systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s)
