The newly established Aston Institute for Membrane Excellence (AIME) is a novel, interdisciplinary, intersectoral analysis and coaching hub for translational membrane science. AIME is supported by a £10M grant from the Analysis England Increasing Excellence in England (E3) Programme and can synergistically mix world-leading experience in membrane biology and novel polymer chemistries to ascertain a first-of-its-kind institute, increasing our distinctive excellence in computational membrane science, membrane biophysics and sustainable polymer analysis. Over the following 5 years, we are going to recruit 20 new colleagues to develop our new Institute.
We are actually recruiting three lecturers, six tenure-tracked fellows, a Laboratory Supervisor and an Institute Supervisor (inside candidates solely) to AIME.
