IntroductionWe are looking for a driven, full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer “M1” who is a Licensed Mechanic with experience in small aircraft. The AME is responsible for conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on aircrafts and requires an M1 license to be successful.Opportunities in Parry Sound/Muskoka and Burlington.Position OverviewThis position is a full-time, permanent position with working schedule of 40 hours per week with potential weekend scheduling. Overtime is available.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures
  • Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines and components
  • Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, etc.
  • Maintaining an organized, clean and safe hangar environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Transport Canada AME M1 license
  • Experience working on general aviation M1 aircraft and systems
  • Available to work weekends
  • Computer proficiency
  • Knowledge in CARs regulations
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
