This permanent full-time position on a two week in/two week out rotation.Description:
The Airfield Operator Level 2 / Ramp performs all equipment operations including airfield maintenance, ground handling, and aircraft de/anti-icing. The Airfield Operator Level 2 / Ramp reports to the Aerodrome Supervisor.Responsibilities:
o Ensuring all aspects of the airfield are properly maintained, in all weather conditions, and all equipment and facilities are in good working order;
o Performing aircraft de/anti-icing, aircraft marshalling, and aircraft ground handling services;
o Operate and maintain light equipment (e.g. tractors, snow blowers, utility vehicles, etc.);
o Conducting airfield maintenance for snow removal, wildlife control, and vegetation control;
o Conducting runway inspections;
o Troubleshooting issues within the airfield and ground handling equipment; and
o Reporting maintenance concerns (e.g. lighting, fencing, drainage, etc.) to the Aerodrome Supervisor.
