About the team:The Finance and Operations Team at Capco is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and advising on the financial status of the firm. Our team strives for to be the trusted financial advisors to the firm.About the Job:As an Analyst on the Finance and Operations team, you will be working alongside high level industry experts to analyze and report on the firm’s financial position. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the financial controls and internal reporting needs of the region. This individual is also responsible for assisting in analytical support including advanced Excel modelling, KPI reporting, and operational process improvement.What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Act as a trusted financial business advisor to the Leadership Team
  • Manage data in our ERP system (Oracle Peoplesoft)
  • Improve financial status of the P&L by analyzing results, monitoring variances and recommending actions to the Leadership Team
  • Report on the client pipeline, backlog, project status and staff planning
  • Coordinate and support the preparation, review, and presentation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans
  • Advise and support Partners on defining financial terms and rate-card structures in client contracts
  • Prepare and review project costing and pricing including advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Lead training and provide guidance to Project Managers to drive operational excellence

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 1+ year of experience in developing and communicating financial modelling and reporting data to multiple business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in financial services and/or management consulting industry highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field (Business, Economics, Engineering)
  • Experience in developing financial modelling to support new business
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • General understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong organization skills with keen attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with all levels and be a team player
  • Ability to work along-side and train client teams
