We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Equity Indexing Analyst. In this role, you will evaluate and assess corporate actions and their impact on index calculations, while effectively communicating these changes to our index users. If you have a strong quantitative background, knowledge of indices, and a passion for pushing boundaries, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Your Tasks

• Ensure the quality of data input and oversee daily index calculations.
• Screen and evaluate equity corporate actions.
• Verify and assess corporate actions and their adjustments in indices.
• Analyse and verify pricing of shares and ensure accurate close prices used in daily index calculation.
• Coordinate the handling of corporate actions and communicate index adjustments with clients and across Solactive’s teams.
• Serve as a key contact for client inquiries and communicate with data vendors, stock exchanges, distributors, and investor relations.
• Contribute to the development of our index-calculation and data-validation tools through planning, specification, and testing of new features.
• Optimize and automate internal processes (e.g., by setting up and transitioning workflows and tasks).
• Collaborate with global teams in Hong Kong and Frankfurt to ensure 24/7 support infrastructure.

Your Profile

• Academic degree in Sciences, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Ideally, you possess broad knowledge of indices, equities, and corporate actions.
• Familiarity with Indices, ETFs and/or derivative products is a plus.
• Coding skills are advantageous.
• Experience with research, coding, or data management.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with a keen attention to detail.
• High self-motivation, self-confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility and accuracy.
• Excellent intercultural competence and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
