If you have a passion for performance, value a collegial and collaborative culture, and approach work with the highest integrity, invest your career here.Job DescriptionThe Analyst, Payroll & Benefits Operations, will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of various operational tasks, including daily/cyclical activities, support for year-end activities or audits, maintaining an accurate book of records for various Talent transactions and systems, managing inquires and utilizing internal resources to complete transactions and processes while adhering to internal procedures and local regulatory requirements. The job supports the Talent Operations team by delivering individual goals, plans, and Talent initiatives that align with the team’s business and strategic objectives. This is a 12-month contract position with benefits.Team DescriptionReporting to the Director, Payroll & Benefits Operations based in Toronto, the Analyst, Payroll & Benefits Operations will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of United Kingdom payroll, including year-end activities and reconciliation of benefits and pension. In addition, the Analyst will be also involved with activities supporting other Global payrolls as assigned (e.g., USA, Canada etc.).Accountabilities:
- Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of assigned payroll tasks, including but not limited to employee transactions, cyclical activities, data reconciliation.
- Responsible for daily, ad-hoc and year-end payroll, benefits and pension operations to ensure they are performed timely and accurately in accordance with the statutory requirements and company policies and practices.
- Administers and processes daily activities to ensure program and policy compliance and alignment to statutory requirements.
- Provides effective and high-quality responses to payroll inquiries so that internal/ external stakeholders are satisfied.
- Seeks opportunities to improve and optimize processes, experiences, and related online data/ content through process centralization, automation, or enhancements.
- Collaborates with global internal/external partners to complete cross-functional and / or cyclical processes. · Conducts regular analysis to ensure data accuracy, leveraging reports for data reconciliation efforts and random spot-checks of Talent data.
- Participates in special projects/ systems implementations by defining requirements, preparing, and executing test scripts, and documenting results.
- Documents and maintains accurate internal process/ user documentation
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field desirable
- Proficiency with various payroll software and programs, including iHCM, ADP Streamline, is considered an asset.
- Continuous improvement mindset – able to identify opportunities, take initiative and think through future implications.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with key market HR systems is required (e.g. Workday, Smart Recruiters, etc.)
- Strong MS Office skills, with advanced excel knowledge.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
